Overview

This first campus of UTAR is located in a convenient commercial centre surrounded by residential areas in Petaling Jaya, the satellite town of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. Today the PJ Campus has expanded to include nearby buildings and it now comprises UTAR's administrative departments, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research and the Centre for Extension Education.

Kampar Campus

The UTAR main campus in Kampar is sited on a scenic 1,300-acre piece of land donated by the Perak State Government. Phase 1 of this Perak Campus is scheduled to be completed in 2006.

A Ground - Breaking Ceremony for the construction of the campus was held on 12 January 2003.


Setapak Campus
Faculty of Engineering and Science

A purpose-built complex, located next to the KTAR Main Campus in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur houses the Faculty of Engineering and Science. This Setapak Campus has a total floor space of 200,000 sq. ft. that accommodates a 7-storey administrative building, state-of-the-art teac hing and learning facilities, four lecture halls, 16 lecture rooms, tutorial rooms, a block of IT laboratories, a 3-storey library and resource centre, a cafeteria, and recreational rooms.

Bandar Sungai Long Campus

The Faculty of Accountancy and Management is at the Bandar Sungai Long Campus, about 20 km south of Kuala Lumpur city centre.
