Since September 2003, the UTAR campus has been equipped with Wireless Internet Access (WIA). WIA Points have been installed at strategic locations in the campus to facilitate internet access by the students. UTAR students, with notebooks, thus have the advantage of being able to access the internet anywhere, anytime in the campus that is within range of the WIA points. This flexibility allows them to access and download material from the web directly into their notebooks at their convenience. WIA is free of charge for UTAR students.
